The body of your note is made up of blocks. Start typing to create a paragraph, or press / (forward slash) on any blank line to open the block picker. Choose from:
- Text blocks — Paragraph, Heading 1, Heading 2, Heading 3, Quote, Callout
- List blocks — Bullet List, Ordered List, Todo List
- Rich blocks — Code Block, Table, Image, Divider

Install Bloc on your device (optional)
Bloc is a Progressive Web App, which means you can add it to your home screen and open it just like any other app — no app store required.
- iOS/Safari: Tap the Share button, then tap Add to Home Screen.
- Android/Chrome: Tap the ⋮ menu, then tap Add to Home Screen or Install App.
- Desktop Chrome/Edge: Click the install icon in the address bar and confirm.
Bloc saves every change automatically to your device as you type. Your notes are safe even if you lose your internet connection mid-session. When you’re back online, Bloc syncs everything to the cloud in the background.
