Your Bloc profile controls how your account is identified and how you access your notes. From the Settings page you can update the name shown in your account, view your login email, sign out of your current session, or permanently close your account if you ever need to.

Open Settings

To reach your profile settings, select the gear icon in the sidebar (on desktop) or in the bottom navigation bar (on mobile). The Settings page opens with your profile information at the top.

Display Name

Your display name is the name associated with your Bloc account.
1

Open the Profile card

In Settings, locate the Profile card at the top of the page.
2

Edit your name

Update the text in the Display Name field with your preferred name (up to 50 characters).
3

Save your changes

Click the Save button. Bloc updates your display name immediately.

Email Address

Your email address is shown in the Profile card but cannot be changed from within the app. It serves as your login identity for Bloc — the address you used when you created your account. If you need to update your email address, contact Bloc support.

Sign Out

To sign out of Bloc on the current device:
1

Scroll to the Sign Out card

In Settings, find the Sign Out card below the Language section.
2

Click Sign Out

Click the Sign Out button. Bloc clears your local session and returns you to the sign-in screen.
Signing out removes your active session from this device. Your notes and account data remain intact in the cloud and are accessible the next time you sign in.

Delete Account

If you want to permanently remove your Bloc account, use the Danger Zone section at the bottom of the Settings page.
1

Click Delete Account

In the Danger Zone card, click the Delete Account button. A confirmation dialog appears.
2

Type your email address

Enter your account email address exactly as shown to confirm you want to proceed.
3

Confirm deletion

Click Delete Forever. Bloc immediately deletes your account and all associated data.
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. All your notes, settings, and sync data are erased immediately and cannot be recovered. Make sure you have saved any content you want to keep before proceeding.
