1
Open the sidebar
Make sure the left sidebar is visible. If it’s collapsed, click the menu icon in the top-left corner to expand it.
2
Click Create note
Click the Create note button at the top of the sidebar. A blank note opens immediately in the editor.
Set a title
Click the large Untitled area at the very top of the editor — above the tag area — and type your note’s title. The title field accepts up to 200 characters and updates the sidebar entry in real time as you type. Press ↓ or Enter from the title field to move straight to the tag input, or press ↓ again from the tag area to jump into the note body.Add a tag
1
Click the tag area
Just below the title, click the Add tag… input. It sits inline in the editor header.
2
Type your tag
Type a tag name. Tags are plain text and support up to 50 characters. Bloc does not enforce any special format — use whatever naming convention works for you.
3
Press Enter to confirm
Press Enter (or tap Done on mobile) to attach the tag to the note. The tag appears as a chip next to the input.
Each note can have one tag. If you want to change a tag, remove the current one first and then type a new one.
Rename or delete from the sidebar
Hover over any note in the sidebar to reveal the ⋯ (ellipsis) icon on the right side of the entry. Click it to open a menu with Rename and Delete options.- Rename — selecting it turns the note title in the sidebar into an inline text field. Edit the title directly and press Enter to confirm, or press Escape to cancel without changes.
- Delete — selecting it opens a confirmation dialog. Click Delete to confirm. Deletion is permanent — deleted notes cannot be recovered.
The number of notes you can create depends on your plan. Free accounts support up to 20 notes; Pro accounts (RM 10/mo) support up to 50 notes. When you reach the limit, delete an existing note first or upgrade your plan to create more.
