Yes. Bloc has a free tier that you can use indefinitely at no cost. The Free plan gives you up to 20 notes and 200 MB of cloud sync and backup storage. If you need more capacity, you can upgrade to the Pro plan for RM 10 per month, which raises your limit to 50 notes and 10 GB of sync storage.
It depends on your plan:Once you reach your note limit, you’ll need to delete existing notes or upgrade to Pro before you can create new ones. Notes you delete are removed from your count immediately.
Yes — Bloc is offline-first. Every note you create or edit is saved directly to your device, so the editor works fully even when you’re offline. When your connection is restored, Bloc automatically syncs any changes you made while offline to the cloud. A small status indicator in the editor shows whether your latest changes have been synced.
Yes. Sign in with the same account on any device and your notes sync automatically whenever both devices are online. If you edit the same note on two devices while offline, Bloc uses the most-recently-updated version once both devices reconnect. To avoid conflicts, try to finish editing a note on one device before opening it on another.
Bloc is a Progressive Web App (PWA), so you can install it directly from your browser — no app store needed.
  • iPhone / iPad (Safari): Open Bloc in Safari, tap the Share button, then tap Add to Home Screen.
  • Android (Chrome): Open Bloc in Chrome, tap the three-dot menu, then tap Add to Home Screen or Install App.
  • Desktop (Chrome / Edge): Look for the install icon in the address bar and click it.
Once installed, Bloc launches like a native app and works fully offline.
Deleting your account permanently removes all your notes and data from Bloc’s servers. This action cannot be undone. Before you delete your account, we strongly recommend copying any notes you want to keep.To delete your account, go to Settings → Danger Zone and follow the confirmation steps. You’ll be asked to type your email address to confirm.
Press Cmd+K (Mac) or Ctrl+K (Windows/Linux) from anywhere in the app to open the search panel. Start typing to instantly filter your notes by title or content. You can also click the filter icon in the search panel to narrow results by date (today, this week, this month) or by tag.On mobile, tap the search icon in the bottom navigation bar to open search.
Bloc does not currently offer a one-click export to PDF or other file formats. You can select and copy the content of any note and paste it into another application. Export functionality is something the team is actively considering for a future release.
You can embed images by pasting them directly into the editor or by using the /Image block from the slash menu. Bloc accepts common image formats such as JPEG, PNG, GIF, and WebP.
Image uploads require an active internet connection. If you paste an image while offline, Bloc saves a placeholder in your note and uploads the image automatically once you reconnect.
Bloc works in any modern browser. For the best experience — including PWA installation — use one of the following:

  • Firefox (desktop — PWA install not supported, but the editor works fully)
