Bloc lets you choose how the app looks so you can work comfortably in any environment. Whether you prefer a bright white interface, an eye-friendly dark background, or want the app to automatically match your device’s current setting, you can switch your preference at any time from Settings.

Theme Options

Bloc offers three appearance modes:

Light

A clean white interface with dark text — ideal for well-lit environments or daytime use.

Dark

A dark background with light text — easier on the eyes in low-light settings.

System

Automatically follows your operating system’s light or dark mode setting, switching whenever your OS does.

How to Change Your Theme

Open Settings

Click the gear icon in the sidebar (desktop) or the bottom navigation bar (mobile).

Find the Appearance card

Scroll to the Appearance section on the Settings page.

Select your preferred theme

Click Light, Dark, or System in the three-button toggle. Bloc applies the change instantly — no page reload needed.
System is the default theme when you first use Bloc. It automatically switches between light and dark as your device’s theme changes — for example, following a scheduled sunrise/sunset setting on your phone or laptop. Choose System if you want Bloc to always match your OS without any manual switching.
